In 2021, Dr. Mohamed A Mohamed, MD, MBA, FACEP founded EMAPS as an ongoing integrative educational project that serves to provide emergency medicine related education spanning 3 main categories of people: ER doctors, ER nurses and the public:

EMAPS for nurses
Focuses on building bridges between doctors and nurses by providing patient care tips while working as a team in the emergency department

EMAPS for public
Aims to improve public awareness on emergency medicine and provides educational tips on how to deal with certain emergent situations at home, and when to seek care in the emergency department
